Clinic-intel and Candour

The question

An aesthetic clinic group asked us to connect their dashboard and turn it into a platform. Simple enough. Then the harder question showed up: what happens when data from every system flows straight into the dashboard, and nobody can see what is happening to it?

What I built

Two things that work together.

Clinic-intel is the action side. Data comes in already filtered, and the clinic team works from it: assigning tasks, delegating and tracking them to done.

Candour is the layer in the middle. It sits between the practice systems and the apps, and checks everything coming in and going out. It runs on the clinic's own cloud, Azure in this case, and supports AWS too.

How it works

1. Clinic systems feed their data in.
2. Candour checks and filters it before anything reaches a dashboard.
3. Clinic-intel turns what is left into tasks the team can assign and track.
4. Every AI action along the way is secure, explainable and accountable.

The prototype runs on synthetic data by default, so you can try it with no credentials and no real patient information.

What happened

We demoed it to the clinic group and they liked it. Then came the hard questions. Where would the data be hosted? And how would they know the layer in the middle wasn't sharing anything?

We answered by showing them the architecture and exactly how data moves through it. They agreed, and they are ready to use it.

What I learned

Until you validate it, everything is a hypothesis. The problem can be simple and the solution obvious, and there are still small caveats, concerns and questions to test. You tweak based on what comes back.

In the end it was never about the build. It was about trust, compliance, safety and data.
